Environment-friendly Drilling Fluid Technology of Ultra-high Density Composite Salt Polymer for Well Kela 9

KL9井超高密度复合盐聚合物环保型钻井液技术

Abstract:

The Well Kela9 consists of a composite gypsum-salt layer with a large thickness of inter bedded layers of salt rock, saltbearing mudstone and soft mudstone, which is highly prone to gypsum-salt layer and soft mudstone creep reduction and sticking. And this well is located in the upstream area of the Baicheng water source, which has high environmental requirements and does not allow heavy metal and dark fluid in drilling fluid. After a large number of compatibility and formulation experiments, a set of drilling fluid system integrated ultra-high density, strong inhibition of composite salt, strong polymer coating and environmentally friendly has been explored. The drilling fluid system has better inhibition than composite salt drilling fluid system (10% KCl + 20% NaCl) and its addition agent biological toxicity test are non-toxic. Its chroma is similar to the local soil color and has strong resistance to gypsum-salt clay pollution. Finally the goal of safe and rapid drilling of thick gypsum-salt layer and long soft mudstone in Well Kela 9 has been achieved. It is safe and smooth without any time limiting for sticking during the whole process of drilling, tripping and electrical testing operations.

摘要: KL9井含大段以盐岩、含盐膏泥岩、软泥岩不等厚互层的复合盐膏层,极易发生盐膏层及软泥岩蠕变缩径阻卡,且该井位于拜城水源地上游地区,环保要求高,不允许钻井液中出现重金属、深色度流体。室内经过大量配伍、配方实验,摸索出一套集成了超高密度、复合盐强抑制、聚合物强包被、环保型的钻井液体系,该钻井液体系抑制性优于复合盐(10%KCl+20%NaCl)钻井液体系、处理剂生物毒性检测均为无毒、色度与本地土壤色度相近、抗盐膏、黏土污染能力强,最终实现了 KL9井巨厚盐膏层及长段软泥岩安全快速钻井的目标,钻进、起下钻、电测均安全顺利,无划眼阻卡时效。
